AquaDad gets one of his short stories published in the OC Register. Well, very nearly. As runner up his story isn't published in the newspaper, but it is available online. It's another exciting moment for AquaDad's writing career. The exciting moments seem to pop up every few years like a string of Christmas lights where many of the lights are burnt out but here and there are a a few shining brightly. AquaDad needs to apply himself more to his writing career.

The OC Register every so often has a painter come up with a painting and then they invite people to submit stories based on the painting. So make sure you look at the painting before you read the story. The painting they show is slightly different, the winner of the contest's picture has been added to the painting.
